Volunteer Section

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: Annual Benefit and Auction Nov. 5 - Art Gallery located in Westside Cleveland is looking for volunteers on November 5 from 8:00pm to 1:00am to assist with annual benefit and art auction, including greeting guests, ticket sales, serving food and beverages, and assisting with silent auction. OCTOBER 29 - Rocky Horror Sake Project - Noodlecat, 234 Euclid Avenue. Includes sake flights, karaoke, pumpkin punch and Rocky Horror costume contest. Call 216-589-0007 for prices.

OCTOBER 30 - 12th Annual 5K Skeleton Run for Your Bones - Amherst Steele High School, MLS Theatre Company, 450 Washington Ave., Amherst, OH 44001. Scare up a good time at the 12th Annual Skeleton Run for Your Bones at Amherst Steele High School! The 1/4 mile Silly Bone Run starts at 8:45 am, followed by the 1-mile Funny Bone Run at 9:15 am, and the 5k race starts at 9:30 am. Race day registration begins at 8:00 am. Cash prizes will be awarded to overall male and female runners, and medals will be distributed to top three runners in each age group. Long sleeve tech shirts will be given to the first 400 paid 5K participants and short sleeve shirts will go to the first 100 paid 1-mile runners. Wear your best Halloween costume, and you could win great prizes! Post-race food and refreshments will be available. Proceeds benefit Amherst Steele Schools and the EMH Healthcare Foundation. $8 - $22, and Silly Bone Run is free. Phone: 440.329.7559.
